Day 4: 🇮🇹 Italy’s Marco and Melissa take us to a Disney fairy-tale land

ESCXTRA are live from Minsk for day 4 of rehearsals ahead of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018! 

Today’s schedule

Today, the countries rehearsing for the second time, in chronological order, are Wales, Ukraine, The Netherlands, Serbia, Russia, Portugal, Poland, Malta, Kazakhstan and Italy. Have a look at the full detailed rehearsal schedule by clicking here!

The next artist to rehearse today is Melissa & Marco from Italy. We have just watched the latest run through of What is Love. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals!

Italy’s performance is quite similar to the first rehearsal and the fairy-tale theme is very much present, especially in the latter part of the song with the huge Cinderella-like castle in the LED backdrop. 

The camera angles work well and the are varied with several close ups but also bird-eye views of the stage. 

Both are effortlessly able to transmit emotions and their vocal performance is very solid.

How to vote!

Online voting is now open! Votes can be cast via vote.junioreurovision.tv. Viewers from all over the world can vote for between three and five countries.

Voting closes at 3.59pm CET on Sunday 25th November, just before the beginning of the live broadcast. Then, voting will reopen during the show for fifteen minutes following the final performance so that any final votes can be cast.
