ESCXTRA are live from Minsk for day 4 of rehearsals ahead of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018!
Today’s schedule
Today, the countries rehearsing for the second time, in chronological order, are Wales, Ukraine, The Netherlands, Serbia, Russia, Portugal, Poland, Malta, Kazakhstan and Italy. Have a look at the full detailed rehearsal schedule by clicking here!
The next artist to rehearse today is Rita Laranjeira from Portugal. We have just watched the latest run through of Gosto de Tudo (Já Não Gosto de Nada). Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals!
First rehearsal recap
Second rehearsal changes
The ‘boomerang’ style camera shot effect has been tweaked to make it more obvious, the Facebook live portrait mode camera has now got filters on each swipe over the camera and the Instagram gallery style camera shot change has been removed.
Rita is so engaging with the camera, she really sells it with all the recognisable social media effects throughout the performance.
Other than this, Portugal have picked some tighter camera angles for Rita’s walk to the satellite stage and it’s a really effective visual performance.
