Alexander Rybak and Jamala record covers of “Volcano Man”

With the release of Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga being right around the corner, the two Eurovision winners have uploaded covers of the soundtrack song “Volcano Man”.

Alexander Rybak posted a cover of the song on his official Instagram. The cover features him playing his trademark violin over the track. In the description, the Eurovision 2009 winner jokingly asks if Will Ferrell will be his friend. As his cover is quite impressive, it will likely make the American actor swoon. Rybak, do keep us posted!

Moreover, Eurovision 2016’s winner Jamala also posted a cover. However, she had a different approach to her cover by turning the song into a ballad. As always, Jamala’s vocals are impeccable while two guys accompany her with instrumentals. Furthermore, she’s wearing an angel wing headband which could be a nod to the headpiece Will Ferrell’s character wears in the official music video.
