TONIGHT: Two more entries selected, plus semi-finals in Sweden and Portugal!

It's time for Ukraine and Slovenia to choose their entries!

In a slightly quieter Super Saturday than last week, strap yourself in for FOUR more shows tonight – including two finals from Ukraine and Slovenia. Sweden’s Melodifestivalen will also continue with the final Deltäving and Portugal’s Festival da Canção will kick off. Get ready to update your tops with two new songs, welcome to Saturday!

🇺🇦 Ukraine – Vidbir

Show: Vidbir – Final
When: 18:00 CET – 21:25 CET

Kicking off our night is Ukraine’s Vidbir! After two weeks of semi-finals, six entries have made it to the grand final but only one will make it to Rotterdam! 50% of the votes will come from the jury – Andrii Danylko (better known as Verka Serduchka), Tina Karol and Vitalii Drozdov. The other 50% of the vote will come from the Ukrainian public via televote and app voting. 2016 Eurovision winner, Jamala, will also perform as an interval act. The running order for the show is as follows:

  1. Krutь – “99”

  3. Go_A – “Solovey”
  4. David Axelrod – “Horizon”
  5. Khayat – “Call for Love”
  6. Tvorchi – “Bonfire”

🇸🇪 Sweden – Melodifestivalen

Show: Melodifestivalen – Deltäving 4
When: 20:00 – 21:30 CET

As we head to Eurovision 2013 host city, Malmö, seven more acts prepare to qualify for the Melodifestivalen final in two weeks time (or for the third and fourth favourites, the Andra Chansen next weekend). Estonia’s 2019 representative, Victor Crone, will compete in tonight’s semi-final alongside former Melodifestivalen participants like Nanne Grönvall and Hanna Ferm. The seven acts rounding off the semi-finals are:

  1. Frida Öhrn – “We Are One”
  2. William Stridh – “Molnljus”
  3. Nanne Grönvall – “Carpool Karaoke”
  4. Victor Crone – “Troubled Waters”
  5. Ellen Benediktson & Simon Peyron – “Surface”
  6. Jakob Karlberg – “Om du tror att jag saknar dig”
  7. Hanna Ferm – “Brave”

🇸🇮 Slovenia – EMA

Show: EMA 2020 – Final
When: 20:00 – 22:00 CET

Tonight sees the second part of Slovenia’s selection for Rotterdam. Between November and January, RTVSLO held a pre-selection – EMA FREŠ – which saw young artists, under the age of 26, compete for one of two spaces in the main EMA show, taking place tonight. Saška and Parvani Violet progressed to tonight’s final and will be joined by 10 other acts. In the first round of voting, a three-person jury will select two songs to progress to the super final. Here, the public will select this year’s representative for Slovenia. The running order for the show is as follows:

  3. Gaja Prestor – “Verjamem vase”
  4. Ana Soklič – “Voda”

🇵🇹 Portugal – Festival da Canção

Show: Festival da Canção – Semi-Final 1
When: 22:45 – 01:00 CET
Where to Watch: RTP or the livestream

Going for the record of “latest finish for a Eurovision pre-selection show” and aiming to beat Sanremo… is Portugal! There will be no need for a multi-screen viewing party here. Festival da Canção will start after all of the other three shows finish… just keep the coffee coming. In this first semi-final, eight acts will compete for four spaces in the final in two weeks time. Who will make it? The running order for the show is below:

  2. Filipe Sambado – “Gerbera Amarela do Sul”
  3. Ian Mucznik – “O Dia de Amanhã”
  4. Bárbara Tinoco – “Passe-Partout”
