First artists release their Selecția Națională songs

M I H A I – Baya

There once was a time where Mihai said he only wanted to return to the Eurovision Song Contest if he was confident he’d be able to win the whole thing in May. That time is long gone as the 2006 Eurovision entrant is now making his fourth consecutive appearance in Romania’s national final. This year, he has once again teamed up with Michael James Down and Will Taylor on “Baya (Speechless)”.

Ester Peony – On A Sunday

Ester Alexandru Cretu will perform under the stage name Ester Peony in Romania’s national final. She has written her song herself, together with Alexandru Serbu. The song is called “On A Sunday” and has quite a bit of dark styling going on…

Dya & Lucian Colareza – Without You (Sin Ti)

Spanish music has obviously been popular in the charts recently, so it’s no wonder we’re seeing more Latin/Spanish flavoured songs in the Eurovision season. Dya and Lucian Colareza are doing just that for Romania, with their effort “Without You (Sin Ti)”.
