ESCXTRA Awards: The winners of the Best Collaboration Award are JOWST & Kristian Kostov!

Welcome to the third reveal of a winner of an ESCXTRA Award 2018. Today, it’s time to tell you who has won the Best Collaboration Award. And the winners are…

Eurovision eagerness teams up

JOWST and Kristian Kostov have managed to take a convincing win in our Best Collaboration Award with 38.34% of the votes. The Norwegian and Bulgarian entrant of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 teamed up earlier this year on their song “Burning Bridges”.

In February, JOWST and Kristian Kostov announced that they would team up for a single together. Their single “Burning Bridges” was the result of a fruitful collaboration. Later in the year, a remix was released as well.

JOWST has had an eager year when it comes to the Eurovision Song Contest. He tried to return as a composer for Norway with his 2017 partner Aleksander Walmann and announced his attentions of competing for the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, the 2017 Eurovision runner-up Kristian Kostov has had a busy year as well. He won the EBBA People’s Choice Award in January and then released more music, like his single “Get It” in July. He made a short comeback to the Eurovision world in April, when he performed “Bones” with Equinox at Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam.

Runaway victory

JOWST and Kristian Kostov achieved a runaway victory in this award. Felix Sandman and Benjamin Ingrosso, best friends after Melodifestivalen, fnished in second with “Tror Du Att Han Bryr Sig”. The bronze medal went to Poland’s Kasia Mos and Finland’s Norma John with “Wild Eyes”.

Krostov won Ebba thanks to voting on facebook, which is a scam for me. Krostov was on Eurovision without pre-selection. In my opinion Krostov has good layouts but horrible voice.
