Stefan releases new song “Miraaž”

It has only been a few weeks since the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 ended, but the artists from this year have been anything but quiet since! New releases include songs by Pia Maria, The Rasmus, and Blanco, and many more! Now, Estonia’s Stefan has released a new single as well, an upbeat song in Estonian!

Listen to Miraaž!

“Miraaž”, which translates to Mirage, is written and composed by Stefan himself, in collaboration with Sven Lõhmus. It is the first song that Stefan has released since his Eurovision participation. It is also his first solo song that is entirely in Estonian. In this song, he definitely differs from the sound that fans will recognize from his Eurovision entry “Hope”, but it is just as good! “Hope” is a country song, while “Miraaž” is more of a pop song inspired by the trend of modern 80s music. Each time, he made it to the Grand Final of the show, and he even won the jury vote in 2019.

In 2022, Stefan won Eesti Laul with his song “Hope” and went on to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. He qualified from the Second Semi-Final in 5th place, with 209 points in total. In the Grand Final, “Hope” reached 13th place with 141 points.
