Dan Bittman, who was the first Romanian entry 25 years ago was supposed to make a return to the competition this year. However he withdrew from Selectia Nationala 2019 with a post on his Facebook page on New Year’s Eve. He added, that he rather wants a young talent to represent Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Bella Santiago to replace Dan Bittman?
Before Christmas she won X Factor Romania and now Bella is rumoured to get a wildcard for Selectia Nationala 2019. As a late replacement for Dan Bittman! Last week she asked if her fans want to see her in Eurovision 2019 after she won X Factor and teased a participation on her Facebook page. Furthermore a potential entry has come to light. A snippet of a song called ‘Army of Love’ has surfaced on social media. Could this be Bella’s entry?
Bella Santiago took part in Selectia Nationala 2018, together with Jukebox. But sadly they didn’t make it to Eurovision. Finishing 4th with rock ballad, ‘Auzi Cum Bate‘ Maybe this is her year?
