Ruslana to be featured in the Eurovision 2023 Grand Final

The BBC have been presenting a long lineup of artists that will be performing during the week of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. The UK, recognising that they are hosting Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine, have added another Ukrainian Eurovision winner to the list of interval acts.

Together with the slogan of this year’s Eurovision, “United By Music”, the BBC plan to broadcast Ukrainian music to the rest of the world. There have already been a lot of Ukrainian artists announced for the Semifinals and the Grand Final, they are:

  • The Hardkiss (Semifinal 1)
  • Alyosha (Semifinal 1)
  • Mariya Yaremchuk (Semifinal 2)
  • Zlata Dziunka (Semifinal 2)
  • OTOY (Semifinal 2)
  • Kalush Orchestra (Grand Final)
  • Go_A (Grand Final)
  • Jamala (Grand Final)
  • Tina Karol (Grand Final)
  • Verka Serduchka (Grand Final)

Ruslana as an interval act

Joining this star-studded lineup is another Ukrainian Eurovision performer. Ruslana won the 2004 contest in Istanbul with her song Wild Dances. Winning with 280 points, she remains one of the most beloved winners of the contest. Ruslana will perform during the Grand Final in a special pre-recorded performance filmed in Kyiv, Ukraine’s Capital city.
