Two more songs added to the line-up

Romania’s TVR has chosen the two wildcards for their Eurovision 2019 national selection. From nine submissions the jury received, Bella Santiago and Linda Teodosiu were chosen to take part in Selecția Națională 2019.

Bella Santiago – “Army of Love”

Bella Santiago won X Factor Romania in 2018. She also took part in Selecția Națională together with Jukebox last year. Their song “Auzi cum bate” finished fourth.

Bella’s song “Army of Love” is written by Bella herself together with Alexandru Luft.

Linda Teodosiu – “Renegades”

German-born Linda took part in German Idol in 2008. She reached the semifinals and got a record deal with Sony Music. Her most recent single “Du Lebst Mich Kaputt” was released in 2017.

Her song “Renegades” is written by Jonas Thander, Rachel Suter and Frank Giustra. Jonas Thander has written many songs to national selections across Europe and he worked with John Lundvik on “My Turn” in Melodifestivalen 2018.

I started watching Eurovision back in 2006, when I was only 10 and couldn't stay up to see Lordi winning. I attended my first contest in 2013 in Malmö. I'm studying journalism and I love music — you will probably never see me without my headphones on.
