Final three acts revealed for Australia Decides

Three big names tightens the competition

Moments ago, Australian broadcaster SBS have announced the final three acts that will complete the 10 strong line up for the nations first national final, Australia Decides!

Alfie Arcuri is no stranger to a singing competition, winning the fifth series of The Voice Australia in 2016 under the mentorship of Delta Goodrem.

Ella Hooper brings a rockier edge to the national final. As lead singer of the group Killing Heidi, Ella has won a number of awards including album of the year.

Tania Doko would definitely be a familiar name for the Australian public. The pop songstress won an ARIA award in 1999 as part of the duo Bachelor Girl. She also won an APRA award in the same year with the song ‘Buses and Trains’.

Coming a month since the last wave of announced acts, addition of these three acts offer a diverse spectrum of musical sounds and styles. Australia Decides will be broadcast live on 9th February. The final line up is below:

Australia in Eurovision 2018

In Lisbon, Australia was represented by Jessica Mauboy with the song ‘We Got Love’. With a performance which included indigenous dance movements, the songstress qualified in second semi-final. When it came to the Grand Final, Australia came 20th with 99 points. This marked the first time the country did not place in the top 10 in the final.
