Czech Republic in the Eurovision Song Contest

After debuting in the contest in 2007, the Czech Republic has only qualified twice in the final. Their withdrawal from the contest in 2010 resulted with a comeback in 2015 where they just narrowly missed out on qualifying for the grand final.

However, their first qualification happened in 2016, when Gabriela Gunčíková and her entry “I Stand” wrote history. Last year’s representative, Mikolas Josef, won over the hearts of millions and bough the Central European country their best result yet. Finishing 6th out of 26 competing acts.

Who do you think should get the chance to represent the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv this year? Do you agree with Cesar and Rassmussen’s top pick for the win? Do you like Barbara Mochowa’s “True Colors”? What is your favorite Czech Eurovision entry yet?
