Today the Moldovan broadcaster TRM held the live auditions for their national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Ten acts were selected to the semifinal by the jury.
The semifinalists in alphabetical order:
- Anna Odobescu – Stay
- Aurel Chirtoaca – La cinema
- Che MD – Sub Pămînt
- Diana Brescan – Lies
- Maria Gospodinova (Lemonique) – Gravity
- Maxim Zavidia – I will not surrender
- Marcela Scripcaru – Meteor
- Siaj – Olimp
- Tinna Gi – Virus
- Vera Turcanu – Cold
Moldova in Eurovision 2019
A total of 26 artists took part in the auditions. The jury ranked the songs based on the melody, the originality of the song, the vocal performance and the actual interpretation of the song.
The semifinal of Moldova’s national selection takes place on March 2nd. The winner will be chosen on the next day, on March 3rd.
Moldova will compete in the second semifinal of Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, on May 16th.
