The first semi final of Melodifestivalen took place in Gothenburg tonight. Seven acts performed for two spots in the Grand Final and two spots for Second Chance.
With a lot of returning artists performing tonight and a new voting system to contend with, we find out if these factors have affected who has qualified to the next round of the competition.
Who performed tonight
The following seven acts performed for the four spots available. The first semi-final saw the return of fan favourites, Nano and Wiktoria, and also the return of 2010 Swedish participant Anna Bergendahl.
- Nano – Chasing Rivers
- High15 – No Drama
- Wiktoria – Not With Me
- Zeana feat. Anis don Demina – Mina brander
- Arja Saijonmaa – Mina fyra arstider
- Mohombi – Hello
- Anna Bergendahl – Ashes to Ashes
Who qualified for the next round
The following two acts qualified for the Grand Final in Friends Arena on March 9.
- Wiktoria – Not With Me
- Mohombi – Hello
The following two acts, have qualified for Andra Chansen (Second-Chance) and will have to fight for their spot in the Grand Final on March 2. The duel that they will participate in will be confirmed after the 4th Semi-Final.
- Nano – Chasing Rivers
- Anna Bergendahl – Ashes to Ashes
In addition to the qualifiers, we also found out how the remaining three acts placed, which as follows:
