Serbia’s RTS to release the studio version of the 24 songs competing in Beovizija 2019 on February 11th

Will the success of Beovizija 2018 keep up this year?

Through a social media post, Beovizija’s Instagram profile just announced that Serbia’s National Broadcaster, RTS, will release the studio versions of the 24 acts competing in this year’s edition of Beovizija on February 11th.

The long awaited comeback of one of the biggest national selections in the Balkan region was followed up by a Eurovision qualification for the picturesque country.

Among the participants, we can spot a few familiar faces for the Eurovision fan community. Extra Nena represented Yugoslavia back in 1992, Nevena Bozovic waved the Serbian flag as a part of Moje 3 in Malmö, Sweden and Jana Susteric competed in Slovenia’s EMA back in 2015.

Also, we will see the comeback of last year’s Beovizija runner-up, Saska Janks. Tamara Milovanovic who competed in the first edition of X Factor Adria, finishing second behind FYR Macedonia’s 2015 Eurovision representative, Danijel Kajmakovski, will also take part.

Nova Deca in Lisbon

Last year in Lisbon, Serbia was represented by Sanja Ilić & Balkanika with the song “Nova Deca”. After coming 9th in the second-semi final, they finished 19th in the Grand Final with 113 points. Notably, Serbia received four sets of 12 points from the televote!
