The auditions

Daz Sampson, who represented United Kingdom in 2006, took part in the auditions with Nona. They performed “Kinky Boots“, but weren’t selected to the final.

Artists from all around the world traveled to Belarus. Next to the neighbouring countries, Nigeria, United Kingdom, Portugal, United States, Israel and Kazakhstan were also represented.

Among the finalists we have one singer from Sweden, Sebastian Roos. Previously Sebastian has also taken part in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen. In 2003 he competed with the group Liverpool, but failed to qualify to the final with “Love is All“.

We also see returns from a couple former Belarusian national finalists. These include Napoli, who have taken part in Belarus’ national final five times before and PROvocation, who competed in the national final in 2017.

I started watching Eurovision back in 2006, when I was only 10 and couldn't stay up to see Lordi winning. I attended my first contest in 2013 in Malmö. I'm studying journalism and I love music — you will probably never see me without my headphones on.
