BBC's Eurovision: You Decide concluded with Michael Rice chosen to represent the UK.

The United Kingdom have decided! Michael Rice with ‘Bigger Than Us’ will represent the country at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv.

BBC’s national final took place tonight with six acts taking to the stage but with a new format for this year’s contest. With only three songs on offer, each song was sung by two different acts in two different versions.

Mel Giedroyc and the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, Mans Zelmerlow, returned to host. For the first time the show was held in the north of England at BBC’s MediaCityUK in Salford.

The expert jury panel decided which of each version was to go through to the next round. The jury panel consisted of Rylan Clark-Neal, Mollie King and Marvin Humes.
