🇲🇹 Songwriters and composers called to create Destiny’s Eurovision 2021 entry

Maltese broadcaster PBS has made a call for songwriters and composers to submit their songs for Destiny Chukunyere’s Eurovision 2021 entry.

Guidelines to be given

Those interested are required to email PBS at [email protected] by Friday 30 October. The broadcaster will then send their guidelines for what they are looking for in their song.

It seems that rather than taking a standard call for song submissions, PBS are looking for a certain style that Destiny will perform in Rotterdam next year. The criteria given to songwriters and composers will need to be followed for an entry to be considered.

Destiny at the Eurovision Song Contest

Destiny was selected to represent Malta following her win on The X Factor Malta. She later released her entry “All of My Love”. She was selected once again to compete in next year’s contest after Eurovision was cancelled this year.

Prior to this, Destiny won Junior Eurovision in 2015 with her song “Not My Soul”, with 185 points. In addition, she provided backing vocals in 2019 for Michela’s song “Chameleon”.

Safe to say that she is no stranger to the Eurovision stage!
