🇳🇱 Duncan Laurence to release debut album ‘Small Town Boy’ on November 13

Reigning Eurovision champion Duncan Laurence has surprised fans this morning, as he has revealed that his debut album ‘Small Town Boy’ will be released on November 13. The announcement comes, after he previously revealed that the album release will happen in 2020.

New album and a show at Ziggo Dome

To coincide with the release of his debut album, he has announced that he will perform an intimate show in Ziggo Dome. The show, which was suppose to take place earlier this year. However, it was postponed to November.

Duncan’s new show will be similar to the ones that have been recently seen in Dutch concerts.

The audience takes place at round tables that circle the revolving stage in the centre of the hall. In this 360-degree ‘in the round’ setting, Duncan Laurence comes even closer to the audience, who have an intimate and corona-proof view of the stage from all corners of the room.

Duncan Laurence at the Eurovision Song Contest

The Netherlands internally selected Duncan Laurence to represent them at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. In Tel Aviv, Duncan managed to bring The Netherlands to the Grand Final for a fourth consecutive year.

In addition to his participation in the Grand Final, Duncan also managed to win the ‘Press Award’ for the ‘Marcel Bezençon Awards’ as voted for by the Press.

After 44 years, Duncan managed to win the Eurovision Song Contest for The Netherlands. The last time the country won the contest was in 1975 with “Ding-a-dong”.
