Georgia reveals song titles for Georgian Idol final

Georgia will be going all Georgian for their adventure at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. All four acts have now been assigned a song and all of those are in Georgian.

Sul Tsin Iare for two acts

Four acts have survived until this stage of Georgian Idol. Liza Kalandadze goes into the final as hot favourite, after topping the show’s vote in the past three weeks. She will perform “Sevdisperi Zgva”, which translates as “Seaside” in English, in the final. The composer behind the song is Levan Basharuli, a Georgian composer who often works in Germany, where he composes music for film and other media.

Interestingly, both Giorgi Nakashidze and Oto Nemsadze will perform the same song this Sunday. Roma Giorgadze has composed “Sul Tsin Iare”, meaning “Go Ahead”, for the two singers. The third and final song will be sung by Giorgi Pruidze. His song will have the title “Me Mjera”, or “I Believe” in English.

Below you can see the list of acts and their song titles for the final of Georgian Idol this Sunday. GPB have not released the songs yet.
