Sweden: International juries for Melodifestivalen final revealed

Finland to have their own jury group for the first time

Next Saturday Sweden will choose their Eurovision 2019 entry at the Melodifestivalen 2019 final. Eight international juries will help the Swedish public to choose the winner.

This year the number of the juries have been reduced from eleven to eight. The eight juries include the two latest Eurovision winning countries, Portugal and Israel. The jury groups also include the three countries that finished in top three in Eurovision 2018, Israel, Cyprus and Austria.

France has been involved in selecting the Melodifestivalen winner every year since 2010. Finland will have their own jury group for the first time.

Melodifestivalen 2019

This Saturday, the last four finalists will be selected in the andra chansen. You can find the line-up and the duels here.

These eight songs have already qualified to the Melodifestivalen final, taking place on March 9th.
