Saturday Summary – This weeks news recap

It's a very busy time in the Eurovision world with lots of announcements, news and releases. It's just normal if your normal day life is busy enough to not be able to catch up with all the news. That is why, we're giving you a summary of some of the most important news of the week for you each Saturday. On the following pages you can catch up with all the Eurovision news. Drama in Ukraine! Withdrawal after national final! The real drama started after the national final in Ukraine after Maruv won the national selection and already was a big fan favorite. The government wasn't so happy about her connections to Russia and she did not want to sign the contract the Ukrainian TV gave her. This past week we got some new songs for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv! Lithuania choosed Jurijus to represent them in Lithuania with "Run with the Lions". Leonora was selected to represent her country Denmark with the catchy song "Love is forever". Joci Pápai will return to the contest for Hungary with "Az én apám". After the weekend Belgium released their song for the Eurovision Song Contest. "Wake up" performed by Eliot will represent them. Juries for the finals in Finland and Sweden Part of the results in Sweden and Finland are from international juries. They will decide tonight in Finland and next week in Sweden, who represents them together with the viewers at home.
