Charlotte Perrelli and Dana International to perform in the Melodifestivalen final

Two divas to share the stage

Two Eurovision winners, Israel’s Dana International and Sweden’s Charlotte Perrelli will perform in the final of Melodifestivalen 2019.

This year’s Melodifestivalen started with the hosts Sarah Dawn Finer, Eric Saade, Kodjo Akolor and Marika Carlsson performing an amazing medley of Israel’s winning entries.

Now the Swedish broadcaster SVT has invited Dana International to perform in the final of Sweden’s national selection. She will perform together with Charlotte Perrelli, who won the contest when it was last held in Israel in 1999.

After performing their winning entries in shorter versions, the duo will sing a song “Diva to Diva” together.

What else to expect from the Melodifestivalen 2019 final?

Earlier this week it was revealed that the loved EBU spokesperson, Lynda Woodruff will make a comeback in the final.

Sweden will choose their Eurovision 2019 representative from these twelve acts.

  12. Arvingarna – “I Do

The winner will be decided by Swedish televoters, app voters and the international juries. You can find the countries voting in the final here. The winner will represent Sweden in the second semifinal of Eurovision 2019.
