After rumours about her being Ireland’s choice for Eurovision 2019, Janet Devlin has now confirmed she is not representing Ireland in Tel Aviv.
On a YouTube video she addresses the rumours and says they are not true. Various medias including the Irish Daily Mail reported about Janet being announced as Irish representative tomorrow, but Janet says this is not true.
She says she had to make this video after being contacted by lots of people and media. She says that you shouldn’t always trust all articles, even when they are coming from “reliable news sources”.
Janet says that she will be watching the show and enjoys it and says that maybe someday she might represent the country.
