Who are Tulia?
Tulia is a four-piece group consisting Patrycja Nowicka, Dominika Siepka, Joanna Sinkiewicz and Tulia Biczak. In their music the group combines the classic white voice folk music with modern music production.
After being formed in 2017, they first gained popularity with their cover of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence” and the video was shared by the band. Now the clip has already been watched over three million times. Their other well-received covers include Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters“ with almost 6 million views on YouTube.
Their debut album was released the same year and has been certified platinum in Poland.
Poland in Eurovision
Poland chose their Eurovision representatives through national selection for three years but the broadcaster decided to choose their artist and the song internally this year.
Tulia will compete in the first semifinal of the contest on May 14th and will perform on the first half of the show.
