London Eurovision Party

Darude and Sebastian Rejman will be bringing “Look Away” to the London Eurovision Party!

No, it’s not in your head!

Fresh from the UMK stage, Darude and Sebastian Rejman will be performing at the London Eurovision Party in Leicester Square on Sunday 14th April at Café de Paris! This will be a chance to see the song be performed separate from the epic stage show we saw at the national selection in Helsinki.

Look[ing towards Tel Aviv]!

Following Saara Aalto’s qualification at the contest last year, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu maintained a similar format for 2019. Darude and Sebastian performed three songs, with Look Away being selected by selected by international juries and televoters to be Finland’s entry for Tel Aviv!

Darude is, of course, best known for the timeless dance floor staple “Sandstorm”. The song peaked at number three on British singles charts and charted all around Europe. Sebastian is a frequent collaborator of Darude’s, in addition to being an actor and television host in Finland. If that wasn’t enough, he is also the frontman of two bands – The Giant Leap and Sebastian & The 4th Line Band.

Last year, Saara Aalto brought Monsters to the stage at the London Eurovision Party 2018, even bringing along two dancers and performing a full routine for the performance!

Ever since I saw Helena Paparizou's triumph at Eurovision in 2005 (at the tender age of 6), I have been crazy about Eurovision. From the regional native language bops and shrieky female-led balladry to the sophisticated avant garde pop songs and chart-friendly EDM, I love everything about this cultural phenomenon. I'm currently working as a Delivery Manager in a software development team.
