Analysing this week’s statistics

With the addition of more than 3,000 new sets of rankings, and many users inevitably editing their rankings, we can see some significant changes between the rankings recorded last weekend and from this weekend. More than 15,000 people have now allocated their points in the My Eurovision Scoreboard app this year and is the most representative fan ranking out there!

  • 🇳🇱 The Netherlands are extending their lead at a rate over Italy of almost 600 points per day, increasing their overall total by almost 20,000 points over the last seven days.
  • 🇲🇹 Malta is the nation making the most noticeable progress, rising from 9th to 7th place in the rankings. Their total points increase of more than 10,000 since last weekend is only bettered by the top 3 countries, and significantly more than their closest rivals Azerbaijan, Russia and Sweden who all gained between 6 and 7,000 points.
  • 🇬🇷 At the current rate of progress, Malta will be closing in on Greece’s 6th place by next weekend… however Greece themselves are making gains on 5th-placed Norway. Better Love has caught up almost 1,000 points on Spirit In The Sky.
  • 🇦🇲 In the mid-table, it is Armenia making the biggest climbs points-wise. Whilst remaining 16th for the past seven days, their increase of more than 6,000 points has substantially narrowed the gap on the trio of Belgium, France and Portugal ahead of them who gained between 4 and 5,000 points.
  • 🇧🇾 The biggest positional climb of the week goes to ZENA from Belarus, who moves up 3 places into 28th. Their gain of almost 2,000 points means that Belarus is adding more points to their total than 20th placed Estonia at their current rates.

Ryan Cobb

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
