London Eurovision Party

Melodifestivalen winner Anna Bergendahl will perform at the London Eurovision Party 2019!

Ahead of the final wave of ticket sales this weekend, more and more acts for the London Eurovision Party 2019 are being confirmed. Next up is Melodifestivalen 2010 winner Anna Bergendahl, thanks to OGAE UK!

Anna Bergendahl represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 and returned to the final of Melodifestivalen this year.

She’s gonna shine, she’s gonna glow!

Stockholm-born Anna rose to fame after placing fifth in the 2008 season of Swedish Idol. She has since become a two-time Melodifestivalen finalist, winning the competition in 2010 with This Is My Life and reaching the final once again this year with Ashes To Ashes.

Ashes To Ashes has seen major success in Sweden since its release last month, hitting the top 20 in the official Swedish singles chart. Anna co-wrote the song with Thomas G:Son, Bobby Ljunggren and Erik Bernholm.

We can’t wait to welcome Anna to the stage at London’s Café de Paris on 14 April, where she’ll perform Ashes To Ashes to an international audience for the very first time!

Alasdair Rendall from OGAE UK said: “All of us at OGAE UK are delighted to continue our sponsorship of the London Eurovision Party – one of the highlights of the Eurovision calendar – for a fourth consecutive year, and we are excited to be bringing Anna Bergendahl to London. Her comeback this year with the amazing “Ashes to Ashes” has been one of the high points of the 2019 Eurovision season and we look forward to a fantastic performance, live on stage at the Café de Paris.”

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
