Belarusian representative ZENA has revealed information regarding her staging for “Like It” at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Israel. This comes just a few days after filming her postcard in Tel Aviv.
A Russian affair
In contrast to last year’s staging, ZENA will be performing something much more “modern and youthful”. She will be joined by a new team of backing singers and dancers, who are currently undergoing rehearsals in Moscow. Moreover, this will be choreographed by a Russian showbusiness Producer, who has been unnamed for the time being.
Preparations are well underway for the Belarusian delegation, whether it’s for their performance or their postcard. Earlier this week, ZENA visited Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to film her postcard.
ZENA in Eurovision 2019
Following Belarus’ iconic audition stage, ZENA progressed to the final and eventually won the national selection with her song “Like It”. This year, the winner was decided purely from a jury vote, where she scored 69 out of a possible 70 points. Belarus will perform 8th in the first semi-final on May 14.
