David Bryan (Romania 2011) wowed audience & judges on “The Voice Of Vietnam”

Successful start for his next adventure

David Bryan, who represented Romania with his former band Hotel FM at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, just auditioned for “The Voice Of Vietnam. During the audition, he performed “Somebody To Love” by QUEEN. The 34-year-old singer was able to convince all of the shows judges (Tuan Ngoc, Thanh Ha, Tuan Hung & Ho Hoai Anh) and get him to the next round!

“Wow… he’s white”

After his performance, David got all positive feedback from the judges. Thanh Hà, one of the judges, was amazed by his energy and his confidence. She was surprised to see a white guy when she turned around.

After getting asked if he could imagine singing something in Vietnamese, David performed a song a-Capella he learned for the show by one of the judges. Afterwards, the judges looked even more amazed by the British singer and David chose to work with the judge he also learned the song from, Tuan Hung. We can’t wait to see what these two give us in the next round!

David Bryan went to Romania when he was only 20 years. He was discovered during karaoke and found his colleagues of Hotel FM afterward. They went on to represent Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song “Change”. After Eurovision and after quitting the band, he went backpacking in Asia, alone. After many wonderful experiences and getting interested in Vietnam and “The Voice” he decided to apply… with success!

We at ESCXTRA wish you the best of luck for the show and we can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
