Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020-2021.

For the Eurovision Song Contest in 2020. RTÉ announced that Lesley Roy would represent the 7 time champions in Rotterdam with the song “Story Of My Life”. Due to the Covid_19 pandemic, the contest was cancelled. However RTÉ allowed Lesley to roll over into 2021, where she performed the uptempo song “Maps”. She competed in Semi Final One but sadly didn’t qualify for the final despite an elaborate stage show. She finished in 16th and Last Place with 20 points.
