Despite skipping the promo tour due to previously scheduled responsibilities, ongoing Eurovision rehearsals and two kids. Tamara Todevska is working full steam ahead of hinting us what we can expect in Tel Aviv next month.
The acoustic version of her entry, “Proud” was premirered today after being previously recorded in the MRTV studios during the taping of the popular music show “Stisni Play” hosted by North Macedonia’s Head Of Press, Aleksandra Jovanovska and Eurovision alumni, Jana Burceska.
You can hear more about the staging concept around the 36 minute mark of the video above, and yes it is in English!
During a special Eurovision dedicated edition of the talk show, Tamara discussed her ongoing schedule which includes going back to taking singing lessons to train her voice to perfection just in time for the second semi final.
When ti comes to the team working on the staging for “Proud”, as we previously reported, both Tine Matulessy and Mari Forsman Ryberger will make sure “Proud” does stand proudly!
Tine and Mari plus Eurovision
Tine Matulessy is best known to the Eurovision fandom by being Sweden’s Head Of Delegation for Junior Eurovision. Her long list of activities regarding the contest include working with the Belorussian representative, TEO, back in 2014, accompanying Malena Ernman on stage in Moscow back in 2009 and being a floor manager at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
Mari Forsman Ryberger is an acclaimed stage director who’s previous work includes putting all her creative efforts towards a few memorable Eurovision performances. Her long list of succesful work include the likes of Frans, Robin Bengtsson and Sanna Nielsen. However, aside from taking care of the visual work she has also been featured as Sweden’s Head of Delegation in both 2016 and 2017.
Judging from Tamara Todevska’s Instagram posts we can safely say that the ongoing rehearsals are going very well as both ladies are in Skopje making sure everything is being taken care of.
