Robin Bengtsson – ‘Already Know’
Certainly already known to New Music Friday with his regular releases. Now Sweden’s 2017 representative is back again with his brand new song ‘Already Known’. The song is a change in direction from the Swede-pop we’re used to from Robin. In ‘Already Know’ there is a stripped back almost acoustic folk production as simple guitar strings dance across Robin’s heartfelt vocals. It’s a melancholic song describing the dread of realising a relationship has reached its end, despite still trying to make it work. Made clear with the emphatic line, “I don’t wanna know what I already know.”
