Estonia’s Stefan to bring “Hope” to Eurovision in Concert 2022

He will be singing for the great and the small in Amsterdam

Recently Estonia’s Stefan was announced as the 18th Eurovision 2022 artist to perform at the Eurovision in Concert 2022 in Amsterdam on April 9th.

After taking part in Estonia’s national selection for Eurovision Song Contest three times, Stefan finally was able to win Eesti Laul on his fourth time in 2022 with the song “Hope”. On the superfinal of the contest, he got over twice as many votes as the runner-up Minimal Wind feat. Elisabeth Tiffany.

Stefan will represent Estonia in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 on May 12th. He hopes to bring Estonia back to the final, after the country failed to qualify to the final in 2021 for the first time since 2018. Stefan will perform on the second half of the show.

Also confirmed to perform at Eurovision in Concert 2022:

In 2019, a total of 28 competing artists performed in The Netherlands’ capital. This year the Eurovision 2021 host Edsilia Rombley and Cornald Maas will host the concert on April 9th. Maggie MacNeal, who represented The Netherlands back in 1974 as part of the duo Mouth & MacNeal and in 1980 as a solo artist with “Amsterdam”, was the first supporting act to be announced. Linda Wagenmakers will also warm up the stage with her 2000 entry “No Goodbyes”. Finally, fans will also be able to enjoy a performance by Teach-In’s Getty Kaspers with the winning song of 1975 “Ding-a-Dong”.
