Rehearsing right now inside the Expo Tel Aviv is Jurij Veklenko, performing “Run With the Lions” for Lithuania. We will continue to update this article as each run through takes place, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!
Jurij keeps his performance very simplistic and almost identical to his performance in the Lithuanian national final. He is full of smiles throughout the song, gleaming at and charming the camera. We get lots of close-up camera cuts, enabling Jurij to connect with the audience at home.
The Lithuanian is wearing an all-black outfit, with a leather jacket, black t-shirt and black jeans. He uses the LED backdrop from the first chorus onwards, which contains lots of gold spots with a small amount of red spots. Later in the performances, we see some vague imagery of people running.
As was the case in the national final, the camera cuts cut quickly in time with the production elements.
Stay tuned for our reviews for the rest of today’s rehearsals here at the Expo Tel Aviv. If you want to know what to expect for the rest of the day, check out our rehearsal schedule.
