Furthermore, read our handy guide for a more detailed look at this contest’s rehearsal schedule.

Rehearsing right now inside the Expo Tel Aviv is Sergey Lazarev, performing “Scream” for Russia.

Sergey is standing in the middle of eight mirrors. In the beginning, he is starting on the right of the stage singing into some mirrors. The beginning features many close camera shots. For the chorus, he is in the center of the stage being reflected on the mirrors. Suddenly the mirrors turn into LED screens showing Sergey during the thunder which appears on the back screen. The second verse starts with him in the middle of the mirrors in a box, where water is dropping down. During this also all LEDs look like water is dropping down. During the chorus in the box, Sergey appears on the other screens, wet from all the rain. For the last chorus, he is out of the box again with him being on the LED screens. In the end, the mirrors break.

Stay tuned for our reviews for the rest of today’s rehearsals here at the Expo Tel Aviv. Hey, I'm Dominik from Germany. Watched my first Eurovision in 2003 and I was in love right away! Attended my first contest in 2011 and every contest since 2013. The same happened with Melodifestivalen. Started watching in 2006 and been to every final since 2017 and try to make it to at least one heat each year, too. After all, Melodifestivalen is the real deal ♥
