EBU and KAN have finally revealed the complete line-up for the interval acts of Eurovision Song Contest 2019. These interval acts include many Israeli artists and Madonna!
Netta will perform her Eurovision winning song “Toy” at the first semifinal of the contest as “unforgettable arrangement”. Dana International will also perform in the first semifinal.
We will also see performance by Israeli songwriter, producer and filmmaker Kutiman. His online music video mash-up ThruYOU got over 10 million views on YouTube in only two weeks and was named as one of the “50 Best Inventions of 2009” by Time Magazine. For the contest, Kutiman will perform a multimedia interpretation of sixty-three years of Eurovision history that combines some of Eurovision’s most iconic moments into one new and surprising video artwork.
The EBU have confirmed that Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 winner Roksana Węgiel will make an appearance in semi-final one. In previous years, JESC winners have appeared at the Grand Final, interacted with hosts and sang a part of their winning entry.
Shalva Band, who originally took part in Israel’s national selection but withdrew because of the issue of having to rehearsal during Shabbat, will perform in the second semifinal of the contest.
Mentalist Lior Suchard will interact with competing artists using his “supernatural powers and senses”. Kutiman will also return at the second semifinal.
Izhar Cohen, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1978, will also perform in the second semifinal.
The final will open with Netta welcome the artists and the audience with airplane ride of their life. The plane will land into the flag parade, where we also see performances by Dana International, Ilanit and Nadav Guedj.
The international actress, the Wonder Woman Gal Gadot will also join us all the way from Los Angeles.
Netta will perform her new song “Nana Banana” in the grand final. The song will be released tomorrow, Friday 10th.
As previously reported, Måns Zelmerlöw, Eleni Foureira, Conchita Wurst and Verka Serduchka will perform in the final. Måns will perform Fuego”, Conchita Wurst will perform “Heroes”, Verka will perform Netta’s “Toy” and Eleni will perform “Dancing Lasha Tumbai”. Gali Atari will join them with to perform her Eurovision winning song “Hallelujah”.
It has also been confirmed that Madonna, who will release her new album on June 14th, will perform in the grand final.
Idan Raichel will perform his song “Bo’ee (Come to Me)” which has become one of the most popular and recognized melodies in Israeli music history. Over the past years Idan has recorded songs in wide variety of languages, including Arabic, Amharic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, English and Hebrew.
