According to latest reports in Poland, 2016 Eurovision Song Contest winner Jamala could be taking part in the next series of ”Dancing With The Stars” in Poland.
Are the rumours true?
Rumours had already been circulating that a famous singer from outside Poland had signed up to take part in the show and now Polish media outlets including wirtualnemedia.pl suggest that it is Jamala that will have the honour. telemagazyn.pl indicates that her participation would be dedicated to the Ukrainian community living in Poland, which has grown exponentially since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in February.
Previous experience
Whilst Jamala will undoubtedly have more important matters on her mind, she does have previous ”Dancing With The Stars” experience after taking part in the Ukrainian version last year. She finished in 9th place, so if the rumours are true, perhaps Jamala can improve on her finish this time around in Poland?
Spreading her message
Since February, Jamala has been spreading the word about her nation across the globe including a recent appearance at the famous Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom. In addition, she has appeared in several fundraising concerts for Ukraine across Europe.
