Rehearsing right now inside the Expo Tel Aviv is Michael Rice, performing “Bigger Than Us” for United Kingdom.
Michael starts the performance alone on the stage and we can see a close-up of him walking towards the camera. The camera has a special filter on it which makes everything look almost black and white, with only faint colours. At the first chorus, stars appear behind him on the LED screen.
On the second chorus, we can see the LED screen showing colourful galaxies and shooting stars. After the bridge Michael’s five backing vocalists join him on the stage. Towards the end of the song, they gather together in a circle.
Michael is wearing black outfit with a black jacket, while his backing vocalists are in all white. They use a lot of echo effect on his voice. Once the backing vocalists join him on the stage, they sound amazing together.
