Rehearsing right now inside the Expo Tel Aviv is Bilal Hassani, performing โ€œRoiโ€ for France.

France’s performance open with different kind of projections on Bilal’s face, such as tears and words “king” and “roi”. Soon Bilal is joined by a female dancer and “people judge me on a picture, but they don’t know my story” is being shown on the LED backdrop. Later in the performance the backdrop show lyrics of the song in English.

Another dancer join Bilal on the stage on the second verse and they also dance together. Videos of the two dancers are also being shown on the backdrop when they first come to the stage. Next to the videos news headlines are being shown. For the second dancer it reveals that she is deaf.

Bilal and his dancers are in all white. Bilal is wearing long-sleeved crop top with shoulder pads and silver details. His wig is long.

Towards the end of the performance all three get together on the stage and the performance ends with them doing the iconic crown hand gesture and on the LED screen we see young Bilal doing the same. A text saying “We are all kings” appear on the backdrop and the “kings” change to “queens”.

The song has gone through some changes, but nothing major. The bridge before last chorus now includes only a beat without any actual music.
