ESCXTRA.com are live in Israel at the Expo Tel Aviv press centre for day 8 of rehearsals ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019! The countries rehearsing today, in chronological order, are Croatia, Malta, Lithuania, Russia, Albania, Norway, Netherlands, North Macedonia, and Azerbaijan.

Rehearsing right now inside the Expo Tel Aviv is Roko, performing
“The Dream” for Croatia. We will continue to update this article as each run through takes place, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!
Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:
And now here is what we’ve noticed in today’s second rehearsal:
Roko’s performance kicks off with him lying on the floor on top of an active crater and we see him first upside down through a birds-eye view. The background LED screen becomes first coloured with a purple then a cloudy and dark blue sky and we then the camera angle zooms in to Roko. Somewhat surprisingly, the two backing dancers, wearing white outfit with prominent golden wings, lower down from the ceiling. The mood then swiftly darkens up and the dancers put Roko’s own golden wings on him. A water them then appears throughout on the LED floor and elements of a cloudy daylight sky with an explosion of lights accompany the last few moments of the song. Overall, Roko delivered exceptionally, with flawless vocals, transmitting powerful emotions.
