Rehearsing right now inside the Expo Tel Aviv is Sergey Lazarev, performing “Scream” for Russia . We will continue to update this article as each run through takes place, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!
Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:
And now here is what we’ve noticed in today’s second rehearsal:
The second rehearsal is much more on point and confident than the first rehearsal. Sergey still starts on the right side of the stage looking into several mirrors. For the first chorus, he is center stage and you can see all his real reflections. For the end of the chorus, he is on the right side of the stage.
The camera shots and positions are there and the LED screens work perfectly. When he is in the box during the second verse everything else is dark and you can see rain on the back LED. The second chorus Sergey appears on all mirrors wet from the rain. During the bridge, he steps out of the box and is in sync with all the LED mirrors. When he walks to the center stage all the LED reflections appear as soon as his real reflection is seen.
The second run through is currently taking place and we are writing up our thoughts right now!
Here is a reminder of the first rehearsal:
