๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท LIVE DAY 9 REVIEW: Bilal delivers confident rehearsal and is ready for the final ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

Israel, France, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, and Germany are rehearsing today at the Expo Tel Aviv

ESCXTRA.com are live in Israel at the Expo Tel Aviv press centre for day 9 of rehearsals ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019! The countries rehearsing today, in chronological order, are Israel, France, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, and Germany.

Below, youโ€™ll see our written review of each rehearsal. If you want more, you can follow our live stream from the press centre at the Expo Tel Aviv by visiting our home page. There, you can watch our immediate reactions to every single rehearsal.

Furthermore, read our handy guide for a more detailed look at this contestโ€™s rehearsal schedule.

Rehearsing right now inside the Expo Tel Aviv is Bilal Hassani, performing โ€œRoiโ€ for France. We will continue to update this article as each run through takes place, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!

Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:

And now here is what weโ€™ve noticed in todayโ€™s second rehearsal:

Bilal’s performance is on point like the first run. He is ready for the live shows. First he starts in the dark back of the stage with a projection on his face. He goes to the front of the stage during the first verse. A dancer with a bit more weight joins him for the first chorus. You see some backstory of her in the background and what her dream is.

He is alone again during the second verse and another very skinny dancer joins him for the second chorus. She is deaf but also has the dream to dance but nobody is giving her a chance. You get the info from the background graphics.

The dancer leaves him for the bridge and both join him for the third chorus and dance with him center stage. All three make this “crown” sign with their hands behind their heads and you see Bilal as a kid on the back LED at the end. Like in the national final.

In the end, you can see on the LED back “We are all KINGS” and then kings changes to “QUEENS”!

So no changes we notice from the first rehearsal ๐Ÿ™‚

Here is a reminder of the first rehearsal:

Stay tuned for our reviews for the rest of todayโ€™s rehearsals here at the Expo Tel Aviv. Hey, I'm Dominik from Germany. Watched my first Eurovision in 2003 and I was in love right away! Attended my first contest in 2011 and every contest since 2013. The same happened with Melodifestivalen. Started watching in 2006 and been to every final since 2017 and try to make it to at least one heat each year, too. After all, Melodifestivalen is the real deal โ™ฅ
