Rehearsing right now inside the Expo Tel Aviv is Mahmood, performing โ€œSoldiโ€ for Italy. We will continue to update this article as each run through takes place, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!

Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:

And now here is what weโ€™ve noticed in todayโ€™s second rehearsal:

Mahmood’s performance features a variety of new graphics and camera angles and a more colorful red, white and black short-sleeved short with abstract patterns. Unlike many other of this year’s performances, there are plenty of close up shots, many of which changing to the rhythm of the song, and fewer wide angle ones. The background features several themes, ranging from rising blue triangles, to English translations of the Italian lyrics to a picture of Mahmood that opens and show his child version of the music video. Compared to the previous rehearsal, the
LED floor features pictures of burning dollar bills, raining down. Camera angles are more focused than the first show and dancers engage well with him, making the performance feeling more complete. The show wraps up with a red sun on a black background. Mahmood seemed much more comfortable on stage and delivered a solid rehearsal.

As soon as the official Eurovision YouTube channel uploads a video of todayโ€™s second rehearsal, we shall embed it right here for you to watch!
