Serhat: “This is my last Eurovision as a singer” [interview]

Having a chat with the viewers

San Marino’s Serhat sat down to answer our viewers’ questions ahead the first semifinal of the contest.

“Turkey needs Eurovision and Eurovision needs Turkey”

During the interview Serhat confessed that this will be his last Eurovision as a singer. He might come back as a songwriter or producer though.

When asking about coming back if Turkey returns to the contest, Serhat only said that as a Turkish citizen, he hopes Turkey comes back to the contest as “Turkey needs Eurovision and Eurovision needs Turkey”.

Serhat hopes that the Eurovision fans get his message of celebrating life and that everyone is a hero. He also reminds everyone to vote for San Marino tonight.

I started watching Eurovision back in 2006, when I was only 10 and couldn't stay up to see Lordi winning. I attended my first contest in 2013 in Malmö. I'm studying journalism and I love music — you will probably never see me without my headphones on.
