Mahmood: “I hope to do the best” [Interview]

We also talked staging, styling and London Eurovision Party

On a sunny Tel Aviv Thursday, hours before the second semi-final, we had the opportunity to chat with Italy’s representative Mahmood.

Mahmood will sing “Soldi“‘ during tomorrow’s grand final of Eurovision 2019. He says he feels very comfortable and happy about being in Tel Aviv and hopes to do his best. During our chat, he told us why he thinks Italy should continue to participate at Eurovision and why it is important. He also sheds some light on how the iconic clap clap moment came to be and tells us more about what he hoped to achieve with the staging. Although he did say he will wear a different shirt for the performance, he will not spoil which kind. Lastly he wraps up with discussing his experience at London Eurovision Party and sends a message to his fans.
