Måns Zelmerlöw releases new songs “Grow Up To Be You” & “Better Now”

New tunes from the "King of Europe"

You saw Måns on the Eurovision stage yesterday and you will see him again on Saturday during the Grand Final performing “Fuego”. Moreover, we also had a little chat with him during his stay in Tel Aviv. You will find everything you need to know in the article below!

“Grow Up To Be You” & “Better Now”

One of the new songs is called “Grow Up To Be You“. Måns wrote this song about his song Albert, who is almost turning one year old. Måns previously already performed the song at the UNICEF gala in Sweden. The song is an emotional ballad about his son growing up and their relationship. This is probably one of his most personal songs and we love it! Måns wrote the song together with Anu Pillai and David Sneddon.

Better Now” was written by Måns, Emma Rohan, Peter Mark Hammerton, and Tom Mann. The song is such a summer tune. It’s the perfect song for the beach in Tel Aviv or brings you the summer feeling even up to the north. You can see in what direction his new album is aiming with these two songs and how he grew as a songwriter and an artist. This is mature Måns but still so how we always knew and loved him.

“Grow Up To Be You” and “Better Now” are already the second and third releases from his new album. The first song was “Walk With Me” together with Dotter. Earlier this week we also had the chance to speak with him about his new music, his Eurovision experience and what else is planned in the next time. You can watch the interview below:

Dominik Rössing

Hey, I'm Dominik from Germany. Watched my first Eurovision in 2003 and I was in love right away! Attended my first contest in 2011 and every contest since 2013. The same happened with Melodifestivalen. Started watching in 2006 and been to every final since 2017 and try to make it to at least one heat each year, too. After all, Melodifestivalen is the real deal ♥
