KEiiNO are definitely one of the most striking acts to ever enter a Eurovision contest. They command a huge amount of attention, and they have a really well balanced creative mindset when it comes to putting out songs that are completely different from the competition, and their previous entries. Which is to say ‘Damdiggida’ is definitely a lot less earnest than the wonderful ‘Monument’, it’s very much more on the fun side. That could serve them well in MGP, they have some competition with that this year but this is one of the most complete packages in the final, a floorfiller that has the potential to create a mass televote much like ‘Spirit In The Sky’, should it go to Eurovision. I can’t say I think it’s the most likely out of the contenders, but it’s in the top half of probable Norwegian entries, continues to show KEiiNO’s diversity and is another great song to add to my KEiiNO on-repeat playlist.

Well I’m sure nobody is surprised to learn that KEiiNO are my favourites of MGP once again! They know their market and exactly how to keep creating hit after hit. This time in ‘Damdiggida’ we go on a flashback to 90s Clubland classics as Alexandra takes centre stage. There isn’t very much of Tom in this one, so that will be interesting to see how that comes across in the live performance. Although I have no doubts KEiiNO will put on a show to remember in MGP. I need enough lasers and glowsticks to rival Tomorrowland! I would not be surprised if KEiiNO end up at Eurovision again, but they have fierce competition in what is going to be a very strong final.
