This year’s Eurovision madness has barely ended but Victor Crone is already making plans for the future! Shortly after the Eurovision final came to an end, he expressed an interest in returning to the contest for Estonia with his sights set on a top 5 finish.
Return to Eurovision?
Speaking to Estonian broadcaster ERR, Victor Crone expressed some disappointment over finishing in the right hand side of the scoreboard:
“I am a little bit disappointed. I would have liked to have given Estonia a better result, be a bit higher in the leaderboard, but we ended in the middle.”
In addition, he reflected on the performance he gave in the final. He noted that he did his best and he didn’t blame the result on anything in particular:
“I think I had a great performance in the final. I gave it my all, the vocals were pretty good and I don’t know…I’m not blaming anyone. We had a good time, I’m going to miss all of it.”
Most of all, he proclaimed that he had a great Eurovision experience and how it was a childhood dream come true:
“It was a surreal experience. I have been watching and dreaming about Eurovision ever since I was a child and I think even today there were many kids watching. Keep hold of your dreams. I made mine come true, but I want to come back in the future and reach the top 5.”
It remains to be seen whether his plans will come to fruition: maybe we can expect yet another collab with Stig Rästa in the future?
Victor Crone has wasted no time after his Eurovision participation! As ESCXTRA reported last week, he just released “Discovery”, an EDM track featuring Syn Cole.

“Storm” was written by Victor himself and fellow Eurovision alumn Stig Rästa, alongside Vallo Kikas, Sebastian Lestapier, and Fred Krieger. Estonia participated in the first semi-final, placing fourth which qualified them to the final. Once there, Victor finished in 20th place with 76 points, following the altered votes of the Belarusian jury.
