Alfred García, who represented Spain in the 2018 contest in Lisbon, just released the music video for “Wonder”. The song is on Alfred’s debut album “1016” and probably the most intimate on the LP. In the video, we see Alfred and Pavvla on Mars and the whole video is very artistic.
“And I wonder if you wonder about me”
Along with Pavvla, Alfred García travels to Mars to find himself on the red planet with a very pessimistic reflection of himself. The artist, even when crucified, is the center of attention of the paparazzi, a criticism of media overexposure. Alfred also meets a reflection of himself dressed in a tuxedo and burning his own vinyl. A sign to get reborn from the ashes?
Alfred walks alone most of the time in the video until he finds Pavvla. In the end, Pavvla, who takes Alfred by the hand, puts him in a kind of car/spaceship with an unknown destination.
